ISDP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Nutrition Sector and with support from the Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF), successfully conducted a five-day Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) training for health facility staff in Bossaso District from 14th to 18th February 2026. The training strengthened participants’ skills in identifying, classifying, and managing acute malnutrition in line with national guidelines.
A total of 18 health workers from supported facilities benefited, enhancing the quality of nutrition services and improving access to timely, life-saving care for vulnerable children.
