ISDP successfully conducted a five-day training for Community Health Workers (CHWs) and screeners in Bossaso District from 11th to 15th February 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and with support from the Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF). The training strengthened participants’ capacity to deliver integrated health and nutrition services including maternal, child, and mental health—in line with iCCM+ protocols. It focused on early case detection, health promotion, basic psychosocial support, digital data collection,
and referral systems, enhancing community–facility linkages and improving access to essential services for vulnerable populations. A total of 18 health workers from supported facilities benefited from the training.
